How to reach the Bulletin.
The Bulletin runs a small editorial operation. Use the right address for the right purpose — it gets you a faster reply and keeps the tips queue from being clogged with press requests.
- Editorial · editorial@web4bulletin.com — pitches, comment, follow-up questions on published pieces. Response window: ten business days when an issue is open, longer when an issue is closing.
- Press · press@web4bulletin.com — media inquiries, citation permissions, asset requests. Response window: five business days.
- Corrections · corrections@web4bulletin.com — factual corrections. Substantive corrections are logged on the standing Corrections page within three business days.
- Tips · tips@web4bulletin.com — non-public information for editorial review. See the sourcing policy for what we can and cannot do with anonymous material.
- Directory · directory@web4bulletin.com — directory submissions and corrections to entries. We respond to every submission; we list a small fraction of them.
- Subscribe · subscribe@web4bulletin.com — the working address for the newsletter form. Replies go to the editorial team.
Pitches should be short. A working title, a one-paragraph thesis, and a sketch of the piece’s structure are enough. We do not require an outline or a draft; a clear sentence about what the piece argues is more useful. We respond to pitches we want to develop within ten business days when an issue is open.
The Bulletin’s working formats are listed in the style guide. A pitch that maps to one of those formats is the most likely to get a yes; a pitch for a news brief, product review, or rebuttal piece is the least likely. We are most interested in pieces that take a structural position the existing catalog does not yet hold.
The form below opens your mail client with the right address and subject. The Bulletin does not run a contact-form backend or collect submissions other than through email.
