The standing corrections log.
Substantive corrections to Bulletin pieces are recorded here, with a date, a one-line summary, and a link back to the affected article. Original articles carry an inline correction note; corrections are not silently merged.

Corrections policy seed entry.
The Bulletin opens its standing Corrections log with this seed entry. The Bulletin treats corrections as a structural ethics artifact rather than a footnote. Future corrections appear here with a date, the affected article, a one-line summary of the original error, and the corrected text. Predictions are not corrected through this log — see the Predictions Log for the status mechanism we use for forecasts.
The Bulletin’s corrections process is described in the editorial guidelines. Substantive errors — a misattributed quote, an incorrect company name, a date that does not match the underlying source — are corrected within three business days. The original article carries a dated correction note; the log preserves the history.
The Bulletin does not silently update content. Routine copy-edits and typo fixes do not go in the log. If a reader flags a substantive error, the log carries it. Predictions are tracked separately on the Predictions Log.
